By the time Marketing Operations Partners Founder Gary Katz landed his first corporate marketing position, he'd worked with more than 150 companies through his own consulting firm and as a director, account supervisor, account manager or preferred subcontractor for more than 20 public relations and marketing consulting firms. In addition, he'd earned a Master's degree in organizational development to better understand what made businesses, and in particular, the marketing function, successful. The opportunity to help such a wide variety of organizations up close and personal on all aspects of marketing, while staying out of the direct line of political fire, combined with his more recent experience of being on the marketing frontline for a half dozen very different growing corporations, was the impetus behind the formation of Marketing Operations Partners.
